Are the tools really free?
Yes. Daleel UAE is non-profit and the tools are free for everyone. Most of them open with a free Daleel Pass: you leave your email and mobile number once, and they stay unlocked on that device for a year. Prayer times, the Hijri converter, the holiday planner and the emergency numbers never need a pass.
Where do the figures come from?
Each tool names the law or authority it is built on: the labour law for gratuity, the Federal Tax Authority for VAT and corporate tax, the Central Bank for mortgage caps, DEWA for utility tariffs, ICP for visa fines, the RTA for fares. When a rule changes we update the tool and say so.
Is anything I type saved?
No. Every calculation runs in your browser. We count that a tool was used (not what you typed) so we know which ones to keep improving.
Can I rely on a result for a legal or financial decision?
Treat it as a well-founded estimate. Confirm anything that matters with the authority or a licensed professional; rules and fees in the UAE change often and individual cases differ.
