A guide, in the old sense
Daleel means guide in Arabic: the person who knows the way and walks it with you. This site is that, for the United Arab Emirates.
Why we built it
Everyone who arrives in the UAE asks the same forty questions, and the answers are scattered across hundreds of pages, forums and group chats, half of them out of date. We wanted one place that answers them properly, names its sources, works in both languages and stays free.
The site started as an interactive chart of the seven emirates. It has grown into a directory of several hundred contacts, a set of guides, a blog and a toolbox of calculators built on the UAE's own rules: the labour law, the tax law, the Central Bank's mortgage caps, the utility tariffs, the visa fines.
It is run as a non-profit. There is no advertising, nothing is for sale and no data is sold. The free Daleel Pass exists so we can send one short newsletter a month and keep the tools free for everyone.

What we stand by
Independent
No affiliation with any government body, developer, bank or agency.
Sourced
Every figure names the authority that sets it and the year it is from.
Current
When a rule changes, the page changes. Tell us if we missed one.
Bilingual
English and Arabic, with the same care in both.
Private
No ads, no third-party trackers, nothing sold.
Free
For everyone, always.
Sources and accuracy
Our sources are the federal and emirate authorities themselves: u.ae, ICP, GDRFA, MOHRE, the Federal Tax Authority, the Central Bank, DLD, RTA, DEWA, KHDA, ADEK and their peers in the northern emirates, plus the published federal laws. Where an official figure does not exist (typical rents, typical fees) we say so and give a realistic range with the year.
Daleel UAE is a guide, not legal, financial or immigration advice. Confirm anything that matters with the authority named before you act on it.
